pictures as promised. i know this is kinda latee but here it is!
in the previous singfest post i mentioned about the contemplating of tickets, the cameras, the crowd and the awesome line ups and show.

first up on the local stage was AVA, i was alittle late for their set so i missed a couple of their songs and i didn't managed to get as many pictures of them. They are coming out with a new album at the end of the year so do look out for it.


Saw Loser

Saw Loser was up next. They haven't had any shows in Singapore lately and it's been awhile since i've watched them played so it's really good to have lots of the great local bands back together performing in one day.

Ok i don't really know much about Dearest but Aiwen sent a song to me by them and just by listening to that one song i thought they were pretty good and i think they got quite a few fans here in singapore. I even saw people holding up flagss.

NFG! what crazy energy they have lol, love their covers on "kiss me" & "iris" fantastic. They mentioned that they will be back for a concert so hopefully if they do come back..we should all go together!


These are the many many people who sat down, chilled, drank beer and watched the performance from the big screen. I've seen pictures from Day 2 and the crowd from Saturday is nothing compared to Sunday!


4 piece band Melee!
Ok i found them on myspace about a year an a half back i think? when they were not so known yet and "built to last" was the first song that caught my attention on their profile. When they were introduced and their songs were played on 987fm i was like "what is this?.. i know this!" haha after that jeremy has been sending me other songs from them as well which got me like-ing the band alot. After Singfest kudos to them even more, brilliant live performance, simply awesomee hahah and i just bought their album from hmv, shall talk about it in the next entry.

oh btw Johan won a Epiphone Les Paul from Strait Times and a pair of meet and greet session with Melee to get their autograph on it. So Johan brought Jeremy backstage and they took pictures. One of the pictures he sent over i've loaded up below which you will see in abit.

Lostprophets
I was standing in the center towards the front the whole time since new found glory and at that time there was still lots of air to breath until LP's sound people came out to set up for them and all the air around just kinda dissappeared. Man..LP was amazing amazing amazing. Like i said in the previous post it was the hardest set to take photos and videos but we are talking about Lostprophets, so expected moshing and wild crowds.


this is probably one of my personal favourite shot taken at singfest.


Simple Plan

Second last band to perform Simple Plan. Another favourite band of mine, they've been to Singapore for a couple of times for concerts/showcases and i didn't managed to go any so this is actually the very first time i'm watching them live in Singapore. awesome.

this is another personal favourite shot. i was wondering why she didn't want to form a heart shaped using all fingers but leave 6 fingers dangling in the air lol. but still a lovely one :)

Travis
The last band and the longgest set for the night by the time simple plan set was done my legs were totally gone case i sat down througout for travis set and only got up towards the end to get a couple of shots. All time fav of many and they were great. Satisfying night and having contemplating so long on buying of ticket i would say it was alittle ex but it was all worth it. It wasn't 150 for one band concert but 150 for 10 over hours of different music, different genre and great bands.
