    Dueling Davids

    David Cook versus David Archuleta, the double Ds.
    Best Finale compared to the other 6 seasons that i've ever watch on American Idol. I think beside the season where Bo Bice and Carrie Underwood fought for AI title and i didn't really care who win, it goes the same for this round because both of them are equally awesome in their own ways.

    since i started watching the auditions and when Arch appeared, i really liked him because he had that cute innocent look and his vocals were amazing for someone like his age. 'Imagine' was the best cover he did and the best i've heard so far besides the original singer and writer John Lennon.

    i only started supporting Cook when he sang "Happy Together" during the week of the Top 24 and omg that was shit amazing hahaa i didn't even realize it was Happy Together until he sang the chorus. Very original, really love all his version of all the songs he sang during the peformance especially "Always Be My Baby" a Mariah Carey cover. When i first heard it was Mariah Carey week and his choice of song, i was like "oh man, no.." rocker version of always be my baby?? lol but sheeshh man what an unexpected fantastic version of it! He totally made it his own and made it believable.

    ok Cook originally did not plan to take part in the show, he went there to support his brother who didn't make it to hollywood but instead he tried out, got in and made it all the way to the finals.
